Sturdy American Library Lounge Chairs + Footstool – revitalized with exciting new upholstery

These three pieces are well constructed and handsomely carved. The width and depth give the set a level of comfort for reading, fireside chats, smoking a good cigar and drinking a warm brandy, or hot tea. The woodwork has been cleaned and polished – maintaining the character flaws essential for authenticity of these early 20th century pieces.

Professionally re-upholstered, re-tied, reinforced and re-nailed by Everafter Upholstery in Minnetonka, MN. Fabric pattern expertly matched in an historical patterned designed by the Austrian architect, Josef Hoffmann in 1913. Cushions have been recreated with Dacron foam and zippered in place. The commercial grade fabric is PFOA-Free Stain Resistant, abrasion resistant up to 23,000 double rubs under the Maharam license. Fabric valued at $108 per yard, 55” width. Clean with mild, water free, dry cleaning solvent.

All one-of-a-kind icons. Sold as a set. There are no other chairs or stools of this style with this fabric – ANYWHERE! And there never will be, I promise!
