“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” William Morris
Our belongings tell the story of where we have been, where we are going and what matters to us. Belongings are the vocabulary of our greater story and the house is but a shelter that binds the story – House Language.
House Language Studio is based in Waconia, Minnesota.
The stuff we buy is ours for a very short period of time compared to the life cycle of the objects. Recovering the throwaway objects of life is joyful. It is true – “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. The potential of a chair that has overstayed it’s welcome in one family can bring great satisfaction and new stories to another family. There is hope in those rejects! Keep the stories alive with artful craftsmanship and new fabrics.
At House Language Studio we create one piece at a time, bringing a unique provenance to each item, adding to your very own story.
